
Jay Peak is an awesome ski resort and year-round playground located in Jay, Vermont, near the Canadian border. Depending on the season, visitors to the resort can enjoy snow skiing, ice skating, golfing, and snowshoeing. A water park is scheduled to open soon, also. Skiing is the main event at the resort. The Jay Peak mountain has two peaks, more than fifty miles of skiable terrain, and more than 385 skiable acres. In all, there are 76 trails, chutes, and glades, with three levels of difficulty.
One-fifth of the trails are for novices, two-fifths are intermediate, and the remaining two-fifths are advanced. Lifts, quads, an aerial tram, and a moving carpet transport guests quickly and efficiently.

One place that does not get a lot of news coverage for snow skiing is Jay Peak resort in Vermont. Yet it has some really great downhill skiing, including some very fast black double diamond trails.

It has excellent sheltered spots, so that no one endangers your life. For those with minimal skiing ability, this is the place to be.
