Besides taking a lot of fall foliage pictures in Vermont this year, I managed to take some Vermont youtube videos also. One day during a sunny day this fall I took a ride up the gondola cars in Stowe.
The gondolas go up the side of Mount Mansfield, which is the highest peak in Vermont. Once you get up there you can hike, enjoy the view or eat inside the Cliff House restaurant.
Of course in the winter skiers use the gondola cars to get up there and do some nice skiing. Right across the road is the Stowe Mountain Lodge. The gondolas go right to the lodge during the winter. (more…)
Well everyone, I finally made my Vermont fall foliage picture gallery page! It’s got 40 of my best fall foliage pictures I took of this year, 2010. Most are from up in Stowe, Vermont.
I went up the gondola ride and took some nice pictures and videos up there. I also have some of a roadside stand selling all those pumpkins and other fall harvest produce.

With the fall foliage season underway, I thought I’d give you some information about one of the newest and best resorts in Stowe, Vermont. The Stowe Mountain Lodge Resort is one of the biggest resorts in Stowe, if not the whole state.
Fully completed only a short time ago, Stowe Mountain Lodge Resort boast 139 luxury guest rooms that include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites. They also have fantastic private mountain cabins.
Located right on the Mountain road in Stowe, the ski lift comes right to the lodge. Step outside the side entrance of the lodge and you can hop on the ski lift only 50 feet away! The lift takes you right up Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont. (more…)
